1. Service Agreement

These terms govern the engagement of Alphaline for employment law, Shariah compliance, and corporate legal services in Malaysia. By engaging our services, you accept these terms in full.

2. Scope of Services

Alphaline provides specialist legal advice on employment matters, Shariah law alignment, and cross-border regulatory compliance. Services are limited to professional consultation and documentation only. We do not provide courtroom representation unless explicitly agreed in writing.

5. Limitation of Liability

Alphaline is not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss of profit damages. Our liability is capped at the fees paid in the relevant engagement. We provide advice based on information supplied; clients are responsible for accuracy and completeness of submissions.

3. Fees & Payment

Fees are quoted per engagement. Invoices are due within 14 days of issuance. Late payment may incur 1.5% monthly interest. All fees exclude statutory taxes and government levies unless stated otherwise.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with 14 days written notice. Termination does not waive payment for work completed or outstanding fees. Upon termination, all documents and work product remain Alphaline's property until full payment is received.

4. Confidentiality

All client information is treated as confidential and protected under Malaysian law and professional privilege. We will not disclose information to third parties without explicit written consent, except where legally required.

6. Data Protection (GDPR & Local Compliance)

Personal data is processed lawfully and securely. We retain data only as long as necessary for service delivery and legal compliance. You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Malaysian law. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.

9. Changes to Terms

Alphaline reserves the right to modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated in writing 30 days in advance. Continued engagement constitutes acceptance.
